Multipartite Entanglement in Quantum Matter
In this thesis, I study how entanglement is organised in subregions of complex quantum many-body systems. Using quantum-information-theoretic entanglement measures and large-scale numerical simulations, I map the entanglement structure of key many-body models, from the transverse-field Ising model to frustrated quantum spin liquids. This approach has uncovered distinct entanglement patterns that differentiate exotic phases from conventional ones. The thesis concludes by introducing network-irreducible multiparty entanglement to quantum matter, providing a new way to go beyond area-law scaling and identify genuinely collective forms of entanglement.
