Title: Wastewater beyond poop: Public health indicator, manufactured water and hydrogen economy
Abstract: During this presentation, Dr Arash Zamyadi, Senior Lecturer at Department of Civil Engineering, Monash University (Melbourne, Australia), will focus on opportunities associated with urban wastewater rather than an issue. These opportunities include use of wastewater based epidemiology and machine learning to monitor public health, recycled treated water for irrigation and production of hydrogen. Arash will discuss scientific and technical challenges that need to be addressed prior to materialising these opportunities.
