Abstract:
The muon g-2 collaboration recently published an updated measurement of the muon magnetic moment at unprecedented precision. In this talk, I will explain why the muon magnetic moment is such an outstanding tool for probing particle physics, how we measure it at high precision, and what we might learn from it in the future.
