Titre: Characterization of Urban Aerosols and their Sources by Positive Matrix Factorization of Composition Measurements: the Cases of Beirut and Montréal
Résumé: Aerosols are a major concern of current research in atmospheric science due to their impact on both climate and human health. The objective of this project is particularly focused on determining the chemical composition of fine particulate matter in two urban areas, Beirut and Montreal. Positive Matrix Factorization (PMF) will be used to identify and quantify the sources of air pollutants at each location.
