Résumé :
In the last few years, several groups have prepared members of a new family of macromolecules, the synthetic two-dimensional polymers. Our research group has focused on 2D polymers based on antrip monomer (below). In this talk, we will outline strategies for the synthesis of 2D polymers and then discuss open question and opportunities including:
- structural classification
- defect tolerance
- macromolecular shape
- post-polymerization modification of 2DPs
- transfer of macromolecular structural information
- applications in separations and patterning.
