Résumé : At the forefront of new synthetic endeavors, such as drug discovery and development, the stakes are high and timelines tight. Leveraging novel technologies is an integral part of Merck’s strategy to meet this challenge. For the past 10 years, the catalysis and automation laboratory has been expanding the tool kit available to synthetic chemists at Merck via the development of technologies and reactions that enable the application of high-value catalytic transformation for the preparation of drug-like molecules. This presentation highlights the innovations that have contributed to the chemistry of Merck products and have been recognized as significant advances in the field of catalysis and high-throughput experimentation.
