Résumé : This presentation will discuss our group's recent work on developing new transition metal catalyzed methods for introducing fluorine and trifluoromethyl groups into organic molecules. Mechanistic and organometallic aspects of this work will be discussed in detail. In addition, applications to complex molecules, particularly in the context of PET imaging applications will be discussed.
